What were the key business challenge(s) you were facing before implementing CTRM Cubed?

We were moving from a very simple business model to a more actively traded model. I thought it was important to start the process with proper trade capture, controls and auditability as these things tend to come to bite you in the end.

What metrics did you use to select CTRM Cubed as your ETRM provider?

I wanted a small and scalable solution without the costs of setting up one of the more complex solutions. We chose CTRM Cubed because of the ability to customise the system for our requirements. As we’ve gotten more familiar with the solution, we’ve found the extensive API capabilities have helped address needs for other parts of the business.

What would you rate the implementation process in terms of timeliness, efficiency, and overall satisfaction?

The initial solution was pretty good and delivered quickly. As mentioned, once we tackled other business requirements, we were starting to learn how to use the APIs

How quickly were your team members able to adopt and utilise the new ETRM solution?

Given how intuitive the system is, very fast.

How has the ETRM solution impacted your day-to-day operations?

It has put a level of controls, robustness and discipline necessary for the business. Indirectly it gives the board the assurance the necessary controls are in place.

Can you quantify the solution’s benefits, such as increased efficiency, cost savings, better risk management, or improved decision-making?

Very hard to quantify. You should avoid losses due to Excel error or fraud! Both of these are satisfied with the transparency offered by through CTRM Cubed’s solution.

Do you anticipate any additional features or functionalities that would further enhance the value of the solution?

We are continuing to develop our use as our business gets more complex.
